Acknowledgments

This second volume is based on enhancements in the GeoDa software implemented in the past five or so years, with Xun Li as the lead software engineer and Julia Koschinsky as a constant source of inspiration and constructive comments. The software development received institutional support by the University of Chicago to the Center for Spatial Data Science.

As for the first volume, Emily has been patiently living with my GeoDa obsession for many years. This volume is also dedicated to her.
